We bought Rita as a young doeling from some friends who
were liquidating their Nubian herd to concentrate on their Oberhasli dairy
goats. Rita was born in March 2002 and we showed her to her permanent
grand champion (GCH) status. We sold Rita in 2008 to a young FFA'er in
Illinois -- we can't keep everyone, and we had 3 daughters and a buck from
Rita. We'd sold other bucks and does out of Rita and we used a buck out of
Rita (Dry Creek Acres Wetonka) in our own breeding program. We now have a
spotted yearling buck out of Rita -- Dry Creek Acres Yetonka, and a
2-year-old spotted doe Dry Creek Acres Xodak who just needs one more
championship to be a permanent champion. When we sold Rita in 2008, she
was milking over 10 pounds a day.

-- so it's easy to see that there are "spots" in the bloodline! Xodak has
already earned two Grand Championship legs, so needs only one more
championship to achieve her permanent championship status. She freshened
with QUAD bucklings in 2009 -- all survived and have been sold.

Tempest is
our Senior Nubian Herdsire, and the center of our Nubian breeding program.
We spotted his dam Nubilop Acres Scoobee-Doo as a young doe, and decided
that we really wanted a buck out of her. Scoobee was bred to Regeher's
Sassy Fortune, and we selected this fine buck from this breeding. We have
not been disappointed with what he's done for our Nubians.

Yetonka is the son of GCH Fixer-Up Rita LA
3-04 90VEEE. He's a flashy, spotted buck and should throw color onto his
kids. (His dam Rita was spotted, and his full sister Xodak is
spotted!). He should also throw milk -- as his dam Rita was a STAR milker,
giving over 10 pounds a day when we sold her to a young FFA'er in 2008.
